Hoi Hup Realty secures go-ahead for High Holborn redevelopment
The plan works on the regrowth of a 1.4-acre island site making up three properties at 322 High Holborn, Holborn Gate and 44 Southampton Structures.
The redevelopment, led by construction and property consultancy Gleeds, Make Architects, renting advisors Savills and planning specialists Newmark, is expected to deliver over 370,000 sq ft of new Grade A work area. Designed for modern occupiers, the structure is also set to include a brand-new cultural venue, the ‘Holborn Dome’, as well as a public pocket park at Southampton Buildings and improved ground-floor services and permeability.
The scheme will occur at an area adjacent to Chancery Lane below ground stop and will be just within minutes of Farringdon Station and the Elizabeth Line. Hoi Hup claims the system is set to be the “western gateway for long term development” and will be one of the most significant brand-new office authorizations in the Square Mile.
